Vallarta Palace is the only Four Diamond rate all-inclusive resort in the Riviera Nayarit, Mexico.
Properties that are AAA approved are assigned a rating of one to five AAA Diamonds, ranging from simple to luxurious. The Diamond ratings indicate the extensiveness of services, amenities, and décor provided. These establishments are upscale in all areas. Accommodations are progressively more refined and stylish. The Distintivo H Certification is given by the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Health to restaurants and hotels that meet the hygiene, health and management standards required in the preparation of food services.
Playacar Spa & Golf Club and Cancun Palace received the award in 2007.

Vallarta Palace and Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort
Expedia.com is home to more 16,000 traveler reviews on hotels across the globe—in 2007 alone. To ensure authenticity, Expedia verifies each Traveler Opinion by confirming that the reviewer has stayed at the property within the past six months. To qualify for the honor of inclusion on the Expedia Insiders’ Select list, a hotel had to have a minimum number of reviews in 2007. Also, hotels and resorts are compared to similar properties to determine the best value for the money.

2006 Premio Nacional Energías Renovables
The Comisión Nacional para Ahorro de Energía (Mexico’s national energy agency) gave Palace Resorts the 2nd place of the national prize for renewable energies in the Development Project category for its efforts and achievements in the areas of saving and efficient use of energy and renewable energy, particularly for its solar water heaters installed in Vallarta palace, Playacar Palace, Cozumel Palace and Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort.

2007 Premio Yucatan a la Calidad - State Prize in Quality - Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort
The Yucatan Prize in Quality is the highest recognition in the Yucatan Peninsula. It is annually awarded to organizations that distinguished themselves for having the best practices in management, overall quality and hence, they represent a model to be followed. They promote and motivate the implementation of quality processes to encourage competition based on the Modelo Nacional para la Calidad (National Model for Quality). It also takes into account the relationship with clients, associates, providers, and the society as a whole.
